Almost exclusively a career right fielder, this player was once robbed of a home run by Ken Griffey Jr. during a game in which he went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Two of his teammates that game went on to become major league managers. He led the majors with 40 home runs in his age-26 season, the only season he led the league. That same season was his only All-Star appearance, complemented nicely by a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger. He only ever played in the American League East (two teams total). He finished his career with a slash line of .256/.335/.466 and 39.3 WAR. On the power side of things, he totaled 241 homers and 716 RBIs – only once eclipsing 100 RBIs in a season. With a cannon of an arm, he had 162 outfield assists, good for 98th place on the career leaderboard for assists as an outfielder. He had the 10th-most home runs – 197 – during the 80’s. Know who this is?
